There's a popular concept called "six degrees of separation", which argues that everyone on the planet is connected to every other person on the planet trhough a chain of contacts that has no more than five links. So getting in touch with someone who knows someone who knows someone, you should be able to find your way to anyone.
So there is this book "the rules of networking", Rob Yeung really interesting.
Amazing the comment of Mark Twain, on reading his own obituary: "rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated"...:-)
I just started blogging last week - so am searching and learning from other people's websites and comments.
So what did you think of the book?

Ciao Fabrizio, That seems to be the right concept, although my practice of Networking shows me I could always get the right person within 3 hops :) Probably it's because there are some strong nodes in my Network as you, and it's also probably because I've been never looking for the people "not known" and not connected with some other important people (and therefore close to me ). Well, in fact I just want to invite you to not let your Blog to die! Go ahead, it's very important for the professional Networker as you to have a good Blog, you'll agree with me I believe. And it's also because your projects are always so exciting, and there could be lots of people glad to hear your experience! Kind Regards, Andrey Golub http://www.milanin.com/members/andrey.golub/
